Ordering duplicates of your keys is easy! All you have to do is upload a photos of your keys and maybe a security card or authorization letter – we’ll do the rest.
What keys can I order on nachschlüssel.com?
On our website you can order so-called "protected" cylinder keys. Protected means that these keys were initially delivered with a security card or were registered to a person or company. Apartment keys, house keys and office keys are usually such "protected systems".
Can I just duplicate any key?
Generally, yes. However, not all keys are the same, and for most of the keys you’ll need to provide at least one document verifying you are actually allowed to have the key duplicated.
Keys with security cards
Cylinder locks usually come with a security card, which looks like a credit card.
So when you go to a shop and buy a single new cylinder locks, this will be the case.
Anyone who possesses this card is allowed to have keys duplicated for the given number printed on the card.
Keys with written authorization
Cylinders that are part of a locking system usually don't come with a card, but are registered by name to their respective owner.
For apartment buildings that can be the landlord or for offices, well, the owning company.
That means said owner has to issue a written authorization letter that you can use to order spare keys.
How does ordering work?
Ordering is done in two main steps:
1. Place your order
First we ask you to upload photos of a sample key. This will allow us to ensure that you get the right replacement key from us!
Then you can select the right one from our brands, after which you will see a list of keys available from this brand. Once you have selected both, we only need the key number that is engraved on your sample key.
If you have proof of ownership, i.e. a security card or written confirmation, you can upload it now. If you are unsure, you can skip this step.
Our system will then calculate the current price for your key, so you just have to confirm your order and pay securely online.
2. Checked by our professionals
Now our employees check your order, that is, we check whether we are allowed (purely legally) to make a copy of the key you want.
This initial check is usually carried out within one working day.
If you have not uploaded a security card or written confirmation when ordering, we will contact you with information about what else we need from you.
In this case, you will receive an email with a link that you can use to submit documents, which will then be checked again.
If everything is OK, we will approve your order and, finally, produce and ship your keys!

How is shipping working?
We only ship by registered mail with tracking. Your shipping costs (and estimated delivery time) will be calculated during checkout, but we offer free shipping for orders with multiple keys, from from 150 Euro to exact.

We offer all common payment methods: during checkout you may choose between credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and more. Please note that, depending on your shipping country, not all options may be available.
